After buying a road bike from Rick at The Bike Shop Temecula, I was inspired to write this short review. I’ve purchased a lot of bicycles in my life, but never from someone like the folks at The Bike Shop Temecula. It’s an entirely different experience buying a bicycle from people who know what they are talking about. Here are my reasons for becoming a customer of the Bike Shop Temecula and for remaining so.

1. Knowledge. Rick and crew know their stuff. I never had to guess about what I needed. The first thing I learned, by way of a comprehensive analysis, was which size bike was the perfect fit for me. This was the first time I’d been measured for a bike and – guess what – my new bike is the most comfortable I have ever ridden.

The measurement is much more than straddling the bike and finding how much room there is between the frame and your crotch. Every aspect of mounting, pedaling and remaining perched comfortably on top the bike is carefully observed and measured. It’s a world class system applied to casual riders and every subtle

2. Passion. The crew at The Bike Shop Temecula are cyclists. They opened The Bike Shop not merely to have a family business, but to be in business with their passion. Bikes are not just products, but the hobby they live for and it comes through. They care about YOUR next bike as much as you do (maybe more).

3. Customer Service. A couple of weeks after my purchase, Rick called me just to see how things were going with my new K2 road bike. Had I been riding? Did I need any adjustments? Follow up calls are nice.

4. Friendliness. Walking into The Bike Shop in Temecula feels like walking into your living room. The staff is casual and friendly. The Outdoor Chanel is on. The beautiful Golden Retrievers come to greet you. You sit on a comfortable couch and shoot the breeze with the staff as you talk about your cycling interest

5. Integrity. I felt that The Bike Shop Temecula gave me a fair deal on the appropriate bike for my interests. I didn’t want to low end, but couldn’t afford the high end, which would be overkill for my level of use anyway. No one attempted to up sell. They were genuinely interested in what would serve my purpose – that’s all!
