Your body doesn’t crave food because it wants to drive you crazy or die early. It craves nutrients and balance. When it has the nutrients it needs AND when you have achieved greater inner balance, your appetite will fall in line. In fact, it doesn’t have a choice!
Living in an under nourished and stressed out state, as most people do, your body seeks to solve this problem by OVER EATING. Why? Because your body does not know the difference between mild malnourishment, stress and FAMINE. It handles them all in the same way – stock up!
When you are less stressed and better nourished, you will be amazed at how the tiniest amount of will power supplies the greatest amount of true choice. Until then, your body will highjack your mind in its quest to combat stress and undernourishment by stocking up on fat reserves.
Food strategies:
1. Focus on nutrients IN. First, realize the supplying nutrients to your body is the primary purpose of eating. Give your body what it needs before you EVER think of cutting back. Your body’s daily supply of protein, fat and carbohydrates as well as vitamins and minerals is essential.

An imbalanced body is NOT a body that loses weight easily.
3. Eat OFTEN. Avoid blood sugar swings by eating small meals 5-6 times every day.
4. Eat BALANCED. Get a serving of protein, carbohydrate and fat at every meal.
5. Get FIBER. Fiber is your stomach’s friend. Besides making it easy on digestion, it is FILLING.
6. NEVER diet. It destroys your metabolism. But you knew that!
